The Director of Information’s NBA Totals Ratings 2024-25

Add the two teams’ ratings for the expected total points in a matchup. A team’s rating is not the expected number of points it will score; rather, its contribution to a matchup which will get closest to the combined total points of the two teams.




The ratings average only 14.07 points retroactive difference from each season-to-date game’s total points, while maintaining zero bias for being too high or too low.
